Kinetic Solutions’ CEO, Adrian Burrows, founded the company after more than twenty five years in military, law enforcement and high level security operations. Twenty years of this were spent in in high risk, non permissive environments such as Iraq, Afghanistan, South Sudan and most recently, the Ukraine, with a total geographic experience in twenty five countries and still counting. His breadth of experience ranges from tactical training, through to Team Leader positions, including training and leading a Presidential Security detail for several years, serving as the CPO (Close Protection Officer) to the Ambassador of Japan to Iraq, the QRF (Quick Reaction Force) Team Leader at the US Embassy in Kabul and Senior PSD (Personal Security Detail) Team Leader for a countrywide US DoS (US Department of State) programme in Afghanistan. Senior Management Leadership roles include large scale security project and programme management positions, including that of the Deputy Programme Director of the largest US DoD programme in Afghanistan, the US Army Corp of Engineers RSSS-A. Spreading his wings further, Adrian has held both Country and Regional Level positions for large US Government funded entities in Europe and Africa. Adrian is an active competitor and performance shooter, having previously won the KZN Provincial Championships, achieving second place in National Championships and competing in IPSC World Championships.
The inception of Kinetic Solutions was born out of Adrian’s extensive travels, in which he observed a massive shortfall in the training and operational standards in developing countries. Although born and resident in the UK until his mid twenties, on returning to his adopted home of South Africa he was dismayed to discover that Institutional Inertia had taken hold of the security industry, military and law enforcement and a one time abundance of operational expertise had long since disappeared, along with those who possessed it. Worst of all, despite spiraling crime levels, rating South Africa as one of the most dangerous non-conflict countries in the world, the private sector had fallen prey to "Social Media Learning", where an unsuspecting audience had fallen prey to "Enter-trainment".  Having not been exposed to good Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (T.T.P.s) which had stood the test of combat, the public had been taking on board tactically and technically unsound information, which could endanger them in a lethal confrontation. It was clear that the time was at hand to put decades of experience and lessons learned in the most hostile environments on earth to good use and to bring it to the places most in need of it. For Adrian, training is a vocation and a passion, the most important aspect being the transfer of vital knowledge to students which saves lives.

MISSION STATEMENT
Kinetic Solutions is a veteran owned and operated Tactical Training Company, operating both nationally and internationally, providing services to both the public and private sectors including, but not limited to civilians, private companies, military and law enforcement agencies. Our objective is to provide the most up to date training based on experience and reality.  Our motto is “Real world training, from real world experience”. We are committed to providing high quality training with the integrity that if we do not have significant operational experience of doing something for real, we DO NOT teach it. We only work with professionals who have bonafide subject matter expertise in what they instruct. We are seasoned professionals who have 'walked the walk' and still continue to do so in operational theatres around the world.
